Un-apply original payment, and apply to new charges.

Enter charge back and fee from bank statement into checking register:

4145 Reimbursable NSF Charges                                                                               $ 350.00               Type (Example): “RCC 099 Smith” in Memo

4145 Reimbursable NSF Charges                                                                               $   12.00

Sample letter or email:

Dear Mr. Smith,

On January 1st, 2016 your regular ACH payment (or “check”) in the amount of $999 was returned by your bank.  Please pay the overdue balance by check at your earliest convenience.  Your statement is attached (or enclosed if mailed).

Please make your check payable to:
